About

The International Society for Quantitative Ethnography is a professional organization that supports and promotes research that unifies qualitative and quantitative analysis of human thought, behavior, and interaction. Quantitative ethnographic approaches are used in a range of fields, including education, history, anthropology, systems engineering, and psychology, and ISQE provides a forum for interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary scholarly interactions at the intersection of the humanities and social sciences. The society hosts the annual International Conference on Quantitative Ethnography (ICQE), a monthly QE Webinar Series, and other events that facilitate intellectual exchange, collaboration, and community building.

Membership includes:
  • Voting in ISQE Board elections
  • Eligibility to serve on ISQE Board
  • Invitation to annual virtual town hall, a convening to hear any key updates about QE community future directions and provide feedback to the ISQE Board
  • Contact informaion listing in future ISQE member directory
  • 12-month membership is included in Conference Registration. The separate membership fee is for those who are not able to attend this year's conference. Refunds will not be issued should you choose to purchase both
